Skinny dipping
The crystals stir
and begin to sway.
Beneath the glass,
my lungs being empty,
I race to the top
with the unspeakable fear
of never seeing the above again.
The cool wetness licks my fingertips,
then spills down my arms, my face,
kissing my entire body.
My mouth gapes open,
welcoming the warm air
deep, deep inside,
filling my lungs,
reviving me,
giving me new life.
I reach the shore and wonder…
Where are my clothes?
