Linear Machine has been with us from the beginning. They are a professional machine shop that deals mainly with high quantities of high precision components ranging from the medical field, to harleys, to the military.

When you look at the inside of Moebius, the superior machine work is the sign of Linear Machine and is just a small sample of their capabilities.

We are very fortunate to not only have them as one of our sponsors but also as one of our teammates.

Because of the design of Moebius, Titanium was integral. When we first purchased the titanium for Moebius we bought it through a national corporation. Materials alone were $1,000.

Then we found Titanium Joe. He was able to get us the same quantity of titanium at a higher grade for half the price that we paid for Moebius' first shell. Titanium is becoming more and more used in Battlebots as the bots get tougher and stronger.

If you are looking to make a bot that is as solid as a tank then you need titanuim and you need to look no further than Titanium Joe. When you get there tell him you saw him on Team DaVinci.com, he'll take good care of you!

There will come a time when you have a really odd shaped part that you need for your bot and you don't know where to get it. Well, that is where DC Water Jet comes in. With their CNC Water Jet they can cut custom shaped parts from a drawing out of just about anything you can imagine, including 8 inch thick Titanium!

But there is another reason why we like to use DC Water Jet. It's called the Dustin Motor. The Dustin motor is a highly modified DeWalt drill motor that can put out incredible power for its size and weight. We have been using two Bosch-GPA 750's in Moebius but switched to the Dustin motors. This switch gave us twice the horsepower in our driveline and saved us 14 pounds!

The Dustin also has all of the gearing built in so there is no need to external reductions that could get damaged. This little fact bit us in the butt during one of our matches.

When you get there tell Gary that you saw them here.
