Well, Shaggy and I pulled an all nighter last night to get BoneSaw finished up as much as possible. We fired the weapon motors for the first time at about 2:00 this morning and WOW!!! do those things put out some power!!! I got some great video of the blue sparks from the motor brushes but alas, I can't put the video here as my computer at home died. As soon as I get it running again I'll try to post some video of it.

And, after we assembled everything we measured the final weapon blade height: 2.78" Still managed to keep it under 3" :-D

Below are some pictures that I took while Shaggy and I worked on finishing up any last minute machining and then the wiring of the robot. Boy, talk about a tight fit to get everything crammed in there! During the process of building this bot we learned of some ways that we could improve the bot but that will have to wait until after NCRSF. Hope to see you there :-)
