Team DaVinci just added a new horse to its stables. BoneSaw is the latest bot from Team DaVinci and he is sponsored by Whitley Home Medical. BoneSaw is a nasty lightweight robot set to make his debut at the North Carolina Robot Street Fight on December 7th.

Head over to the build page for BoneSaw to learn more about him.

Well, I just got back from the filming of the very first episode of Robot Rivals (formerly Robot Warriors) and we had a great time. The series will start airing in the DIY Network during the second quarter of 2003 so stay tuned here for more details as the world premiere approaches.

I have updated the Team DaVinci Store with some new books, robot kits, and the pre-order of two new BattleBots video games!

I got my latest issue of GameInformer in the mail the other day and as I was reading through it I noticed another Battlebots reference when describing a game.

And, now we know that BattleBots has truly permeated mainstream society. Take a look at this Trivial Pursuit ® card that I was asked :-) It is from the 20th Anniversary edition of Trivial Pursuit and the it is in the green catagory labeled INV (Invention).

Well, I have been out of town for a couple of weeks so I haven't been able to update the site too much lately but I'll fill ya in on the latest goings on.

We just found out that BattleBots was featured in a "gentleman's" magazine, Gallery, for the month of October. Team Davinci and Moebius are in it a few times. It is actually a pretty big spread (pardon the pun) on the sport as a whole.

I am heading to Tennessee next week to film the first episode of Robot Rivals. I will have Georgia Tech on my team and Brian will have Virginia Tech again since they won the pilot episode show. We got a lot of stuff donated to help ensure the success of the show. Including an IFI ISAAC16 for each team. I also got one to play with and learn on and have been futzing around with it for the last few days.
