Yesterday Team DaVinci Robotics made an appearance at a local Cellular store to help raise awareness of Robotic Combat and to promote Robocide. Ken Gentry, who is hosting Robocide, brought out his bot Eradicator for people to test drive.

The promotion was hosted by Daniel Dennis of the Monsters of the Midday (My wife's favorite on the show and one of my favorites along with the D to the Jizzay). The Monsters of the Midday is probably the funniest radio show that you will EVER hear and Team DaVinci Robotics usually has them on when we are working on the bots. You can listen to them online or on XM Radio. Many thanks to Daniel and the rest of the crew for being such gracious hosts to us freaks :-)

We have added two new items to the Team DaVinci store. You can get your Official BattleBots wall and desk calendars for dirt cheap! They make great stocking stuffers and will be used all year long (unlike that three-armed turtle-neck that Aunt Edna knitted for you)

Head over to the Store to take a peek.

I have been honored to have been asked to attend Steel Conflict as a color commentator for the event. Steel Conflict is a West Coast sister event to Battle at the Beach that plays host to some of the most fearsome robots anywhere. Steve Brown of Team Brown who built Greenspan, Mini-G and Jackrabbit is the event organizer and you couldn't find a nicer guy to be around.

More more information about Steel Conflict or how you can register or just plain ol' attend as a spectator then head over to www.SteelConflict.com to learn more.
