Suggested Reading
Here's some books that I've really enjoyed.
  The Princess Bride: S Morgenstern's... The book is even funnier than the movie. Great bedtime reading.
The Celestine Prophecy: An Adventure A little heavier reading. This will make you stop and think about your soul.
The Chronicles of Narnia (Boxed Set) I read this in 3rd grade and again as an adult. It was great both times.
The Lord of the Rings (The Lord of the... Buzz read these to me on long drives. You can't beat the story with a stick.
Harry Potter Boxed Set (Books 1-4) Hopefully the 5th book will be out soon. For now we have to be content with these. Buzz and I read them all at least twice out loud to each other.
Adventures of Don Quixote I think this book shows how wonderful life can be if we maintain our childlike fascination with the world.
The Canterbury Tales, in Modern English For an extremely old story, this book contains many relevant issues for modern times. It's also pretty damn funny.
As I Lay Dying: The Corrected Text... This book taught me what poignancy was. Simple stream of consciousness can convey so much emotion.
The Metamorphosis I've had reoccurring dreams of my own metamorphosis for years. Kafka is able to express the surrealness of it all.
Yuqui: Forest Nomads in a Changing World... One of my professors at UCF, Dr. Stearman opened my eyes to the diversity of many cultures.
Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom Every woman should have a copy of this book. Any man that wants to understand us should give it a look.
The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for... His Holiness the Dali Lama... Buzz and I attended one of his teachings in San Jose, CA. He is the most amazing speaker I've ever seen. This book is full of useful wisdom.
